I ordered this and I'm going to pick it up. Craftsman C3 19.2-Volt cordless inflator I already have other tools and the batteries that work with this. Regularly $60, was on sale and I used my reward points, so got it for $30 19.2-Volts of electricity into up to 200 PSI of compressed air, It has good reviews and I just think it would be real handy, quick and easy to grab and use. It has a digital gauge and you can pre set it for the PSI and it will turn off automatically
So I guess nobody has one of these things right? I didn't even know they had such a thing, did some research on them and other brand names have them also
I never even thought something like that existed.... You gonna use it to blow up your swimmy wings? Seriously, I'd like to know how well it works on truck (16-18")tires and other higher pressure requirements?
I'm intrigued. 200psi max and says it will air up two tires. To what pressure? If it's 2 up to 80psi it could be quite useful.
as far as two tires on a charge I'm thinking they're talking about NiCad batteries, the 4 amp hour lithium-ion batteries I have might do a heck of a lot more than that, but hey, I don't know we will see. If I won't pump but my floaties I will be disappointed I have three air compressors of different sizes but I just think if this thing works it would be very handy quick and easy. It will only shut off automatically up to 40 PSI, but says 200 psi manually
that's what I'm talking about I have a couple of portable air tanks also, by the time you go get them fill them up, maybe you could have the job done with one of these deals, even if the air tank has enough air to do what you need to do
Ok, I tested out the air pump. It took 18 minutes to fill, a totally flat 16" truck tire to 40 PSI, second truck tire was 27 PSI, took, 6 minutes 15 seconds to fill up to 40 PSI, then I went out to the splitter which has a slow leak on one tire, it had 16 psi in it, it took 45 seconds to get it up to 31 PSI. The extra capacity battery was at almost half discharged, I know this because it has a button on the battery to test the level. The automatic shut off function worked perfectly at 40 PSI and all other settings below that, so you don't have to sit there and watch it, you just set it to the pressure you want and go do something else while it does its thing, but like I said anything over 40 psi you have to do manually. I really like it, it's going to come in real handy grab it, stick a battery in and go. Definitely worth the 30 bucks I paid for it, but I think it would still be worth the regular price at 60. I always have some kind of tire that is low for one reason or another or just because its been sitting for a long time and needs to be topped off
Sounds like a cool feature being able to set it to a pressure and walk away. The reviews look like the hose/valve is the weak point? sounds like most folks were industrious enough to replace it with a better hose
So far so good, but if the hose clamp goes bad it wouldn't be a big deal to replace the hose , never know they may have put a different type hose on there now, after some complaints. Also could just replace the chuck
Here is a battery operated air compressor I bought. I have yet to try to blow up a car or truck tire from flat but have added air to them and it works really good and does not take too long. I have also used it on smaller tires like on the atv, splitter, tiller, etc. It uses the same battery as our drill and other tools. This one also has a setting where you can set to shut off at a certain psi. I have found it best to go 1/2-1 psi over what you want. It also has a blower but that is not used much as it is not that strong. I also have a battery operated weed whacker but that takes a much larger battery. I like it too.
That's what I'm talking about somebody else does have one I like my it works good, pretty fast pumping up a low tire. I set the automatic thing a couple pounds high too. I have a bunch of different tools that work with these batteries, I really like the hedge trimmers they are light and they get the job done, no cords, no gas. The hand vac I use around the stove all season
Very cool. Never seen one like that before. Looks very handy and I will be checking it out. I'll have to check if Milwaulkee makes one for my M18 set?
