You guys make the place what it is........Keep it up. I'm proud to call you guys friends and family in the firewood world.....
I'm sure most of us will be here for years to come. I enjoy everyone's personality's and their knowledge of burning. And then there's the food that you guys make. I could go on and on.
Good concept… good people… great results. Thanks Scott and all of the mods. It'll be 1000 members before we know it…
You know, Sinngetreu and I were discussing what makes this forum great and I think what we arrived at is that we can actually express ourselves and show what we did without anyone jumping down ours throats and telling us that we did everything wrong. Everyone was a beginner once, no one is going to do it perfect the first time, most don't even do it perfect their last time. We are all in this together, so let's keep pulling the same direction-- no one likes the guy that pulls the opposite way of everyone else.
"We are all in this together, so let's keep pulling the same direction-- no one likes the guy that pulls the opposite way of everyone else." And, all that one guy does is get the saw pinched anyway…
Congrats! ! Growing bigger and better everyday! ! The members are what make this place great! Always warm and welcoming. Not everyone needs a saw that ends in XP and burns wood in a Nice and fancy wood stove. It's o.k. to cut firewood with a Wild Thing and burn it in an old non-EPA stove. We make do with what we have and we make it work. Whether your here for firewood, food, stoves, saws, pellets, beer , or just wanna chat? We all share that same common bond and brotherhood (sisterhood for some of us )
Good folks here. We have a lot of common values and everyone brings something to the table. Whether it is mechanical knowledge, a good story or a recipe, these are all important to a good site. This is where I like to be on my down time.
