    It's all over YouTube, depending on how long you char impacts the look. Japanese technic, helps with preservation as it deters insects and fungus.

    We did a pole the other week but it was for in ground application of a clothesline.

    Very cool! I watched a tv show that used same technique on a wood house in Norway I believe.
