Ok well I am going to get a brush possibly the sooteater but if not a regular 6 inch liner brush and clean out the liner. I have not burned a ton but figure why not clean it out since Christmas they are calling for it to be 70 degrees. So my questions are this.

    1. Can i clean it out without disconnecting the liner from the nc-30? ( i know easy right)

    2. Obviously I would have to remove baffle boards, but what other stove dissection is required?

    3. Is there benefits of going top down vs bottom up?

Thanks for the help in advance and feel free to recommend a brush or rods or what not if ya want as well.

    1. Yes. ..no need to disconnect it.
    2. None. Remove baffle, brush away. At least on my stove.
    3. Benefit from bottom up is you can do it in your whitey tighties when the roof is covered in snow. Can you tell I'm a soot eater owner :)
