Right where I want to be.
If that were a LOT closer to me, I'd be on it like a Firewoodhoarder on free firewood....or a really good deal on a Fireview/ or me at a DQ.
Can the feet be easily replaced? If not, a strategically placed firebrick or two would work, aesthetics be dammed (I know, spelling, but filters and such).

I may call about it. Not sure I’d use it as we love our old earth stove but I know it’d help with the wood consumption. I’m only 40 minutes out…. Thanks for sharing

Anyone know if the leg is replaceable or will I need to fab/weld? Intrigued by this and so I messaged them. I’ll post back what happens but for that price I’ll store it for a bit

If you get it, reach out to Woodstock and I bet they'd let you know if the leg can be fixed or not. They're top notch with their customer service.

That leg is easily replaced and will not cost much either. Go for it!

That’s probably 4 hours away and I have no idea what I would do with it right now. Looks like a hell of a deal though.
Stephiedoll & jtstromsburg are a lot closer.
I’ll let one of them snag it. Then they can store it for me for a couple years until I get the building I’d like to get put up done. Then I’ll buy it from them for $175! :D

How is that for a 3 year plan??

Come up and rained on me on the way home. I’m gonna blow the stove off to try and dry it out. Looks to be in decent shape for being well used. The one broken foot, which I already reached out to Woodstock about, and also needs a new combustor. now I gotta decide if I want to try and run this in place of my 1003C earth stove. Doesn’t seem like it’d heat as well since it’s quite smaller, but hard to say. I already had a friend show interest but if another member here is in need of a high quality stove, we can talk.

jtstromsburg I love it when a plan comes together! That stove needed rescuing.
I can't comment accurately on the performance difference between your Earth Stove and Fireview. My only Earth Stove experience is using a non-cat version in a buddies shop. I can say however that it is completely appropriate to have 2 stoves in the stove room. One just waiting to take it's turn:whistle:And another spare stove in the kitchen. Just ask my wife...... She's such a accommodating woman! I'd say tune up the FV and plug it in for a try. Plenty of advice available here on the FV.

So happy you got that stove jtstromsburg. For sure the cat will have to be replaced. Also no doubt it has the old ceramic cat and it is in a frame. When you get the new cat you will not need that frame as you can just set the cat on the gasket and the cat will be steel rather than ceramic.

Let me know if you would would like me to copy info from the manual.
