I really enjoy seeing the different purpose-built rigs of the many members that have built carryalls. So, I figured why not see if we can put a thread together with a bunch of different photos. Tractor color doesn't matter. Would you folks be so kind as to share what you've built? Here are some pix of my carryall. I think I am on version 3-ish. And, of course, some pix of pups and saws! Enjoy!
I don't have a carry all, but yours looks pretty good. I used one when I worked on a ranch as a young man, but we do things differently now with side by sides and 4wd pickups, etc.
I used a tractor supply carryall frame to build mine. I’m on version 3 now also. First was made with 3/4” plywood bottom and deck planks for the front wall. The plywood rotted out. The current version I welded an old lawn trailer body onto it. Added a couple of PVC tubes for handles on stuff like a shovel or loppers. Then a receiver hitch that was scrounged up somewhere to pull something when it’s on. I put a “seat/shelf” across the front to set things on or let the grandkids sit on for their mandatory tractor ride when they come visit. I’ll have to get a better picture. Currently on the Ford but I use it on the Kubota also. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I like your setup! I am not seeing the 3 point connection. Are you using pallet forks, or did you build it to hook up direct?
I like your old Ford. I just dragged home an 8n to tinker with. I haven’t gotten around to doing much with it, but I have plans to make a carryall for it and just use it around my place. I hope to find time to get it running good this year. Work and kids keep me so busy that my projects get neglected. Glad to be working and raising healthy kids, though!
Just curious, do you under-inflate the back tires or is it just the load? Looks a little low, but not around tractors much.
Kan wee C the tractor side of it? What I mean is how it attaches to the 3 point hitch? I really like the look of it.
Only things I have built tractor related. Ballast box is all 1/4” and filled with concrete. It does fit my ms260 16” bar, fuel, and a jug of bar oil and is contained by the steel lip. The diesel tank holds about 70 gallons.
I posted this earlier in a separate post. I am not affiliated with this company in any way shape or form. BUT, if I were building a carry all this one has so many positives to copy to make any current one better. I was impressed and would copy it if a family member needed/wanted one. I usually have a boom, bale spear or blade on my 3 pt. Here it is. Don't Build A 3 Pt Carry All | BigToolRack
Swanman, Farmchuck It is a normal carryall frame that hooks to the 3 point. I purchased the frame at the local Southern States and painted it orange. Here is a pic of the hook up side. It is just a normal Cat1 set up. For what it is worth, I use a set of the Pat's on my Kubota. Pats Category 1 Premium 3 Point Quick Change Hitch with Bar - 102ST
My main work box is 42" deep and 60" wide. It holds 1/3rd of a cord (43 cubic feet) I also made a 8' wide x 4' deep work box. This is meant to work out of, not really to carry things, although it could This trailer I made I set up to be a wood retrieval specialist
I don't have one yet. My son wants to learn how to weld. So I drew up some plans and picked up some steel from the scrapyard. It just lacks cutting, grinding, welding, and finishing up. I have made the pin mounts using a water jet. If I can find the right receiver hitch at the scrapyard I'll add on to the open end to tow a splitter or smaller trailer.
sirbuildalot, I like what you did with the trailer. I just got a Cub Cadet that has a 3 point hitch. I've be trying to decide on building a carry all or deck out my pull behind cart. After seeing your trailer, I may do up my cart.
