Had a large chunk of my willow tree come down Monday and can't get any of the local lawn maintenance / tree service people to return my calls. Being a pellet burner, cutting up big stuff isn't in my repertoire of skills, nor do I have the equipment that can handle it. Anyone willing to help a gal out this weekend and come over and cut it up for me? I'm in Hillsboro

I don't imagine you want the wood, but if you do, it is yours. If not, I can get it to the dump myself so I'm not expecting heavy labor besides the cutting.

I'd help out if I lived closer! But that's a little to far for me. I am sure that someone from the site will be willing to give you a hand. Good luck.

We surely hope someone can help you out on this one. It doesn't look like that much of a job and easy cutting. Yes, as for the wood, it is willow. Nuff said.

Not a gazebo (thank goodness), just my cat pen - they are pizzed they can't go outside now. Completely missed my old wood lawn future and the crab apple, so things aren't horrible. Don't know about my roof though as I'm pretty sure it bounced off that.

That's what I figured, but you never know and really, I'm sure you could just put a portion of log at the edge of the swamp and get another willow tree in no time. That is why that tree was there - to help dry out the land my house was built on. At least that's what I surmise since I've only been there less than 4 years.

Your only 2 hours south. I could get down there in 2 weeks. I would this weekend but I'm at my dad's in the catskills. Keep me posted if you don't have any luck by then.
