I split about half of yesterday's load this morning. I had no intention of going today until i realized i left my peavey there. Not sure when i'd go back so went there late this afternoon to get it and decided to cut a load of wood since i was there. Why not? When in Rome do as the Roman's, when at a pile of logs do as the wood hoarders do! The rain had held off, i had some time and it was still on the cool side. Not a full load, but acceptable for an hour + of work. Didnt have time to buck anymore as i loaded all i cut. All red oak and heavier than yesterdays load of ash.
It wasnt part of the plan Canadian border VT or chipper1. The PU was so full from the first load i really did forget it. Sometimes there's barely enough room for the saw! I just got the peavey for Christmas too!
