There's a place on the side of the road they just cleared off about 3 acres. Not sure if it's a house going up or not, isn't exactly where you would see a business or mini subdivision going in. They just piled it all and burned it like in your pictures. What a waste.

    Offf.......thats a waste.
Is it liability issues that make it not allowed.

Well considering they made a giant mess of it all, I'd say it would have been too late to scrounge anything clean that it worth the time to rescue from the pile. I am surprised they are going to burn it all though because that's going to take forever. Around here if they do a lot clear, they bring in a tub grinder and chip it all.

What you can't see is the back side. Piles of big blocks laying in the wide open.

Don't think it's a liability concern. It's at an off road park and they make you sign a waiver to get in. Be pretty easy to amend it to fit the cutting. We are haulin shale out for a jod we have going.

:picard: I see lots wasted in the name of “progress”. It’s a shame. Society in general needs to slow down and smell the roses. I would if I wasn’t a contributor to the collectors kicking the door in every day…

It is awful to waste but it seems common now. Most will claim liability.

That would be my guess. Ive asked about piles of logs and thats usually the reason. I respect that and move on. Remember we had the FHC waiver form for that score. I still think of that cedar burl the guy wouldnt let us take.
For those not familiar with it here's the link.
