Does anyone have a resource for straight handles that will fit boy's/camp axe heads? I have performed countless internet searches, but can only find them in curved. 24-28" would be preferable.

Well, House Handle lists the eye dimensions for a 2 1/4 pound head at 3/4" x 2 3/16".

Ok, let me see if I can get you one made up later this evening or tomorrow evening. I'll leave it a tad long and a tad big on the head end so you may have to do some fitting..

Update: Someone from another forum sent me a link to the handle I'm looking for. The only problem is that at $26.50, it's over twice what I normally pay for handles. I'll see if I can convince myself to bite the bullet on a few. Not sure if I'm permitted to post the link here. Let me know if anyone is interested.

How big of a hurry are you in? If I get a free moment I might be able to get one roughed into shape for ya. You'd have to final sand and finish it though....

Not a big hurry. I really do appreciate the offer, but I hate to have you trouble yourself. What I need to find is a reliable online source, so that I can stock up on some extra handles.
