Strong south winds turn the Drolet into a blast furnace, have to keep a close eye on the stove.

You don't have a damper on it at all?

No I tried one on the PE and it did not do anything so never put one on the Drolet, had a damper on the Nashua also but still had a strong draft with it also, only happens a few times a year, part of the problem is its when I "Lincoln Log" a new fire in the morning. Does not do it as dramaticly when reloaded on coals and it burns from one end to another.
