    I found this pieture on FB this morning. Beautiful, but wondered what really would look good being made from this wood? it is Rainbow Poplar

    Not sure how it would hold up for hardness but table top or counter top or bar top etc was the first thing that came to mind here also.

    Looks like Poplar interested to see if coloring holds up after drying and would it come back after coating with clear ?? JB

    I would have to look up and see what is done with Rainbow poplar. That was a pic on FB.

    Beauty. Many pieces would benefit from great color, mostly rustic/shabby I would think. Door panels on a kitchen hutch or table legs come to mind.
