Nice thing is when they are on the hoof they don't take up so much freezer space. I wish we had some of them around.
Deer and turkey are so common I generally forget to take a photo but this guy got my attention last fall
That would get my attention too. A few weeks ago the neighbors were coming home at night and “thought” my black German Shepard ran across the road in front of them. She started to call me when the “dog” stopped at the edge of the woods, it was a black bear. Needless to say I was going out to try and put a leash on it.
Not wild life haha, but Picture I took walking near my house of the neighbor's horse boarding place. Sandhill Cranes Bald Eagle by my place.
Very nice! I like the vintage picture too. I want to get a wall mounted coyote for my house badly! It would look awesome. I have a very rustic old rural schoolhouse I live in.
Sitting at the picnic table this morning watching the smoker and these guys came to visit. 3 more in the woods that were too nervous to come down. They’re only 20’ behind the smoker and I’m only 10’ from the smoker.
The local turkeys have been roosting in the trees out back here. I have a video of them up on the peak of the barn roof and flying to higher branches. One evening it was 3 hens and about a dozen poults that are bigger than grown chickens now. They had to be about 50' up in the trees.
Has a good deer viewing day Wednesday. 7AM that morning, I see this fellow feeding around our old chicken pen and broader. He is probably 40-50 yards from the house That evening while I was running the splitter, my wife and grandson were sitting on the golf cart, probably 20 ft from me, this little guy walked up to the fig tree, no more than 20-25 yds from us I walk up to the woodshed in the picture and take his picture again
