We are heading to our camp this weekend for spring turkey and spending the day Friday along the drive down through Arcade, Franklinville and Ischua to the southern tier of NY to try the streams.
:seasoned:More to follow:ithappened:hopefully we find a couple! Anyone else had much luck yet this year?

I fish trout in late fall through winter until about April when I get tired of it. It was especially bad for me this year, they just didn't show up in their usual numbers at my local stream (Lake Ontario tributary). Here is one noteworthy brown...

brooktrout.jpg J. Dirt Here are some brookies in spawning colors from high up in mule deer country on the east slope of the Cascade mountains. This was from a fall hunt. We took a day off of chasing the deer to catch breakfast. The beaver ponds were surrounded by rose hips. They were so colorful I added some to the mix! metalwrkr
