I was in Indianapolis Thursday with Kenzie, and saw a few signs of the tournament, including the huge tournament bracket that is on the front of a local hotel. I saw today, that teams were on the roof of another building taking photos with it as a back drop. Some of the teams are playing in Bloomington at IU, so there is a bit of a mood going. watching Grand Canyon play Iowa tonight. Their fans are having fun. Made me wonder that given how Hoarders are spread throughout, how many are watching smaller schools from their locale? Some small schools have already given some bloody noses. I haven’t watched much college ball the past few years. I regret not watching Garza at Iowa. My local high school is in the final four for the state championship. They were undefeated when the tournament was halted last year. Cheated big time.
We watched the Badgers defeat NC the other day. They sure whooped up on them, and nobody saw that coming. That team has been just a little off. Never pulling off an upset all year, until that last game, even though they had Iowa dead to rights a few days before the NCAA tourney started. Garza is really good. He should be great in the NBA.
Well I sure didn't see loyola chicago beating illinois. But it happened. Blows my bracket but it's fun
im kinda following it every now and again i kinda hope syracuse can pull the rabbit out of there hat again
Watching now. I remember when Indiana played them for the title. a few years later, Duaney Duaney came from Bloomington to play for Syracuse, fresh off winning the last no-division State Championship. Indiana women’s team won a nail biter tonight. First trip to the Sweet Sixteen, and now the elite eight.
Well tournament is done. With the defeat of Gonzaga, my Indiana is the last team to go undefeated. 1976. Happy, but feel for the Gonzaga team to get that far.
