'67 firebird convertible. 2 names on the title. My grandmother. First owner. My mother. Current owner. I just fired it up today and let it have a moment of sunshine. 31000 original miles.
First car I ever drove. Legally. This has been indoors its entire life. Betting it hasn't seen a full month of outdoor exposure. What a PIA over the years. For years my dad has been walking on eggshells around his garage trying not to bump it, drop something on it etc. Mom would have his arse! Its as clean as I've ever seen in untouched, completely unmolested original condition.
Very nice! Hope it hasn't been picking up moisture form underneath over the last 52 years.... What engine? Had an opportunity to get a firebird with the ram air IV. After driving it a couple of days, I told the dealer I would end up going broke or killing myself! Those ram air's were scary on HP/torque!!!! But sure was fun!
Its had 4 storage spots. 2 high and dry single garages and 2 underground climate controlled parking areas. Appears as if there is zero floor pan rust etc. There are a few rock chips here and there. The engine is the 326.
That’s a beauty, I’ve got a non-restored 67 convertible Camaro in my garage. Hasn’t been quite that babied
Good news there. Cousin had a 67 326 and I believe it had a 4-speed. She and her husband were supposed to tell me when they wanted to get rid of it but.....didn't. It was also original, hardtop though and I as I remember, less than 50K on the odometer.
