Another big oak to the mill

    Had another cribbing order I tried the new 747 blades from woodmizer they worked real well this log was real dirty even using debarker it dulled the blades pretty quick DSCN0301.JPG DSCN0302.JPG

    Thanks it is a work in progress next is a addition to put in a board edger will make jobs a lot faster and i have to do something to get sawdust out lot of shoveling now JB

    Any idea what they are using the cribbing for? Was everything in the back of the truck from that one log? Looks straight now. I’m guessing they will use them right away, so no concern about what happens as they dry. Is that correct?

    They build overhead cranes and use the timbers for shipping cribbing so drying is not a issue the load in my truck was from 2 different logs but there was a lot of 1 inch boards that came off also the log on the mill will yeild about 300 BD ft of lumber JB

    Nice setup and that was a pretty good size oak. The wood in the back of the truck looks great.
