Figured I'd grab a few bags of the TSC (Dry Creek) pellets to try. Get there and it's a different UPC on the bags than 2 days ago. I didn't know by memory what they were so I picked up 3 bags anyway...UGH :headbang: From what I've read, I'm NOT looking forward to burning these...

I burned some Currans years ago (2014-2015 when I was running just the P61a in the basement) and they weren't horrible. A bit on the ashy side but put out decent heat and weren't a bad value at the time. I preferred them over the NEWPs value-wise. Haven't seen Curran's in this area for quite some time - since the Stove Shop that used to be in town closed.

First bag in and surprisingly enough...a heavier but LESS ash than the Lignetics green label I've been burning and they do give a comparable decent heat! Light in color and a smell that reminds me of Pine Sol :D Not bad on the fines either - again much less than Ligs.
