With these warm days I have not had to let a fire go through the day; I build one in the evenings and usually it is still warm in the house in the mornings and I haven't really needed to have a fire through the day. Of course that is changing, cooler weather is moving back in. I came home this evening from visiting with Sister #1 and after putting my grocery shopping away, settle in to build a fire to chase away the chill. I laid the fire and then added some crumpled newsprint and then the kindling and lit it with a match. That is when I heard a noise coming from the top of the stove. Dang, a birdie had come down the chimney and was on top of the fibre board.. It was too late to stop the fire. I quickly grabbed my torch and headed outside. The scaffolding is still in place at the chimney. I made haste in getting up on the scaffolding and opening the bottom cap. As soon as I did, birdie came shooting out and flew across the back garden. It wouldn't have set easy with me if I had knowingly roasted a birdie.
можем ли мы перестать притворяться, что мы из другой страны? это глупо, как я размещаю это на русском языке
Have you ever noticed how that "accent" is lost once he/she gets defensive? (And a few more just for good measure)

Why did everyone get so sh**ty on my post? The story was real. There appear to be some really nasty folks on this forum at times.
I thought we were suppose to have a certain amount of decorum on this forum according to the rules. None of the responses were about the story, they were about just being mean. I was also surprised to see a moderator of the forum also engaging in just being mean. I don't go into any post and just post crap to be mean.
It wasn't foreign gibberish. It was a sentence written in Russian. You can copy and translate it if you don't read Russian, which is what I did.
Well, as a non Russian speaking person that knows nothing about internet translators...I took it as just a regular ole funny reply...
