Today, I sold most of my herd of Fisher kids! I kinda had too, when we eventually move I wasn't transporting 7 Fishers up to New Hampshire. 5 of the herd went in 2 days! I kept the two I will be using up there. A Bicentennial 76 edition Grandma for the house and a Mama Bear for the shop/garage. "Yes" I sold my XL... I know the folks that bought them will give them a great home and see them back to their past glory!
Welcome new neighbor! Live free or die! Where in New Hampshire Welder Dave? I have A flock of HHTs A Harmy in the house A Harmy in the garage A Harmy in the workshop And a Quad in the shed!
It goes into the "New Hampshire" funding. I had planned on cleaning, rebricking and repainting them and making a buck or two but I got what I had into them. I made a little on the XL but at this point they needed to move. I have what I need and want.
It will be worth it in the end. You will find more if you need to scratch that itch. I pulled our stove out yesterday in anticipation of our move. All good.
As you get older, collecting things, esp. heavy things is very hard to keep and maintain. I think you will be very happy with the two you have. Will you be taking all you cast iron cooking pans up to NH? Lots of weight right there. Storage is the big thing as we age. Hard to move things around so we can get to our "stuff.."
Oh yea!!!!! Not leaving those to un-trained hands! I do have that figured out! They don't weight quite as much as the 2000lbs+ of stoves I had!
