A pile of Oak...

    The boy had a soccer tournament this weekend out of town on Saturday. Right next to the field I had to sit and look at this pile of Oak. Thinking of how much BTU's were there. :D

    Yea, but betting who ever is going to be using won't let it sit for three years....

    Heck, the small oak tree that I cut down lastweekend the owner said oh that make you some nice firewood this winter. I explained to her that it be at least three years before it would three years before it would be dry enough to use. She was shocked....

    Ya most people I talk to about oak say the same thing. That huge pin oak I did a few years ago I talked to a guy hooked a guy up I used to work with, gave him some ash and apple I didn't have time for . He looked at my oak and said man that would be great for this winter! I looked at him and said no way I would burn it for minimum two years, this guy has heated with wood for many years and he just said O it will burn just fine this year Just shook my head and let it go as he wouldn't listen.
