A few years ago I responded to a craigslist post where the poster was giving away sugar maple logs from trees he had taken down in his yard by a tree service. I was all over it and got about 10 face cords from him. I became friends with the property owner and his wife , a young couple in their late 30s. He's had some large ash trees taken down since then and I got those as well. A few weeks ago he texted me and asked if he could buy a cord of firewood from me. I responded "absolutely not, but I will give you as much as you need". They only burn about a face cord a season. Dropped that off to them tonight and they insisted on giving me what you see below. Now that I took. It will be nice sippin' this winter.

Indeed! Buck55 you helped them and then also gave back some of the wood you took. True friends helping others.
