I'm thinking it's a Sugar Maple but could be wrong, I should've grabbed this a year ago but there's still some good wood.

No Zap! Pine! Pine is what we need for Christmas. Sugar maple is for Spring. Okay, cookies too.

If the wind keeps on roaring, we'll have more Pine.

I pulled out of the woods just before the winds really picked up, I think we have gust close to 50 mph.

We have 204 without power just west of us.

I'd gladly take a few days of that Bogy, without the wind also.

It will get split tomorrow and then get stacked on Monday.

After the winds today , I'll need to check for more downed wood tomorrow, maybe work off some of the cookies I've been pounding down.

I just took a look at Weather Undergrounds forecast for this area, they have us getting 8-12 inches of snow on December 29, so I better get going on the stacking.

I'm going to do just like I did when we got that 7" of snow last month. I'll leave the plow off! Of course, it doesn't take long to put on should it be needed but sounds like we will not be needing it. Tis okay with me.
