    Kids love to do anything that makes them feel grown up. Encourage them. Some day you and I will need to rely on them when we can no longer do for ourselves.

    unclefess , I like his ear protection. I bought some muffs for my little one for trap shooting with her daddy. Suppose those will work on other stuff too, like splitting?

    Wildwest, you bet use that ear protection as much as you can on your little one. I only started using hearing protection about 20 years ago when I first notice my hearing going. I have stopped the damage but hearing protection is very important for young children and then you teach them that is part of your gear when you work around loud noises.
