Very cool! I have a bunch in that realm also...what size bar are you looking to run and what’s your budget? Also wonder if it’s a here and there saw or will run it quite a bit. A couple I have aren’t to light on the scale!

Saw that on OPE I only go there looking once a quarter. Like to be $600 ish or less. That 036 mofo would have been perfect..

my saws like lots of my tools get run hard 3 weeks and laid up for 4 months

24 bar once in while. 260 stihl not cutting it!

I will admit I don’t know a lot on the 576. I have ran 2 of them and found them to be smooth saws. Of course Eric is a trusted guy...if he says it runs good I wouldn’t have any reservations about the platform itself.

The only heated handle saw I have left is a ported 046 arctic. Outside of that and in budget also is a 056 Super. That’s heavier of course but can run a long bar or short for that matter. I have a 25” setup and a 36” setup for that.

MS461. Stout saw right out of the box. Gains can be found with a good builder.
