well, my CAD is in check, (i think) dunno about them though. If the right deal on a Stihl came along, it'd be hard for me to pass it up. All depends what it is of course.

I see 028's in great condition for 100-200 on a fairly normal basis, there was a 201t on AS for like 300 not long ago, not sure why someone would want a 362 especially an early one o_O.

the 028 has to have the metal screw for the air filter cover (my late uncle, who was like the grandfather i never had, gave me a new one in 1985 when i was 17). Dont really need a 362 (361 etc) as i have a 261 and 460 which do the job. Non Mtronic on any of those.

If I see something nice I'll let you know.
I've had plenty of 60's, rarely use them, sold the ported 361 last summer and the ported 357 a couple weeks ago, down to the stock 2260 now. I'd personally choose the 361 over a 362 if I was going with a standard carb, but the newest 362 with a standard carb is a good saw too, just not the earliest version.

Loved my old 028 super. I bought my MS290 to replace and there is no comparison . The MS290 is a Schnauzer compared to the old 028 .

Been looking at a 362 myself but can't get up the courage to pull the trigger ( yet ).
If I hear any more talk about the 362 I just might crack.

The 291 will run well with a good chain, but the 455 or the 359 in your signature would do better I'd think.
Crack as in get mad or crack as in buy one lol.

    Crack as in buy one.

I want to buy a new saw but honestly can't justify it right now. Been so busy lately I can't even find time to use what I have.

What’s your & anyone else’s opinion of the 359, just Seen one in a pawn shop but can’t remember the price or condition really, because I was too focused on the 272 XP

359 is a great saw. If your into nodding saws it takes very well to a base gasket delete and a muffler mod. Unfortunately(or fortunately because it makes the cheaper) they are always in the shadow of the 357xp. The major issue with them is the carb and with a carb kit and drilling the cover that can be taken care of no problem.
One thing many guys don't like is the outboard clutch, but thats one of the reasons it handles so well. I also like that it takes a small bar mount instead of the large like the 562.
    Hope that helps.
Oh if the price is right I'd grab it :).
