They provide some stove top temperature guidance with this new stove, unlike the 30. Also it now has two layers of ceramic boards, N-S then E-W.

They now require 15’ minimum chimney height. Overfire temperature is just 650 but measured in a weird spot above the door which is actually behind an internal heat shield. The hottest spot is actually center of the step on top.

Glad they’re back to the nc30. The replacement models have not been given good reviews.

It's now got 5 burner tubes, instead of the 4 on the 30. The part numbers for the front 3 tubes (1 - 3) in the 32 are the same as tube 4 (most aft) on the 30, and the aft two tubes (4 & 5) on the 32 are the same part number as the second (from the front) tube on the 30.

Strange. I wonder if there is anything to gain from reversing the tube order in the 30? It would more closely emulate what is on the 32.

First time I have seen an efficiency number for their stoves, the 32 is 70% HHV. I wonder if the 30 is the same?

No mention of blowers in the manual, I wonder if that option is gone. I see the rear heat shield (top blower discharge) no longer wraps around the aft top.

Apparently the leg option is gone too? No mention of it.

The stated particulate emissions increased from 1.63 g/hr for the 30 to 2.0 g/hr for the 32. I suspect that is a testing methodology difference more than anything.

"This unit comes with a 5/8“ rope gasket around the door that should be replaced at least every year." :loco:

Above the door is pretty vague, isn't it? Does that mean stove top, or on the front face above the door?

    Agreed regarding the hotttest spot.

I haven't needed anything except a couple of questions answered, and they were quick in responding. So no problems on my end.

I wonder if the price will increase on this new stove?

I was thinking the same, but hardly see how it would be safer.

Had an issue with a month old stove last winter. They left me high and dry. More than a dozen calls and 3 customer service reps later they kinda put a bandaid on the situation.

Still no stoves listed on their webpage. Must be getting ready to release some.
