Sounds good. You selling hardwood or dogwood? If hardwood, Price seems fair for the regions I run around. Closer to the city one could get a bit more.

Are you selling in log lengths? If not, how are you splitting?

Always nice to have to have cash in hand.

384 cu ft of firewood for $450 cut and split I'd be really tempted .
Lowest price I've seen around here (a year ago) was $225/cord and that was the three cord bulk discount.
I got a bargain half cord from a neighbor that was moving out/divorce was selling stuff cheap and even then it had too much poplar and mystery wood in it that when all was said and done I was actually doing him a favor helping to clean out his yard. It was fairly lousy firewood. It was seasoned/dry, I'll give it that.

If it is 3 real cords, I think you are undercutting yourself. Especially delivered.

I think he was meaning the lack of response to his question, not location?

That is a great deal. I would have no problem spending 450 on that load.
I have paid close to $200 for 2 face cords in the past on Long Island.

Loosed tossed like it is on the conservative side a cord is 180 cubic feet. 180 x 3 = 540 cubic feet divided by = 20 cubic yards. If what you are delivering is like post #15 you are shorting people by a LOT!

well they've all asked to be put on the list for next year, so i guess the definition a deal is when both parties are happy.

Sounds like a good rationalization for shorting people.

Why don't you just call it a big truck load of wood and not use the term "3 cords" as this is a legal definition in some states and can get the attention of weights and measures.

    An example.
