Indiana's Youth hunt was this weekend. Audrey has had an extraordinary first year. First her doe, then a buck, then her ram in Michigan and now a nice Tom!

Turkey stats: 23.7 pounds, 10" beard and 1 1/4" spurs.

And one extremely excited and happy girl!

Taken with a 410 at 24 feet. Turkey numbers seem down this year. Not seeing a lot.

Granddaughter. That is my son in law aka her dad. They take hunting serious. And she played a game of soccer that morning earlier. Wish I had half their energy!

Was sicker n a dog yesterday missed my turkey opening day. Felt better at 3 am so I went out with a borrowed Little Runt decoy and one box call. Hit the call twice at 630 am when three jakes stepped into the field and they came a running. I am still not 100 percent so an executive decision was made. Less than 20 yard shot I didn’t want him to mess up a loaned out decoy
