I took three loads of Pine chips back in and the fourth load was Pine needles.

This trail tipped to the outside so I'm building up the outside track, I'm hoping it's done by the end of the summer.

The first two pics are the first load.

If you don't have a tool like this, you ought to consider getting one. You can't believe how easily the forks go into the material and then lifts out without the material falling off. Really slick use for mulch.

Looks good and it's fun making trails, I love doing that stuff. If I was nearby I'd be right there with ya.

I took a load of bark and some pine needles back in, this area was really low before I started working on it two years ago.

I used five bales of straw underneath everything this year, it's a chit load better.

Just a couple of dead trees I took down later this afternoon, the tree on the left in picture 0290 was pulled down by the rhino.

We'll be doing another 2 or 3 trees tomorrow morning before it gets real hot.

Some of those dead trees look pretty ugly.

For skidoo trails, do they have to be banked on the curves like a road? Or does that happen when you ride the trails in the snow?

When you get snowmobiles going around corners fast, it just naturally banks themselves....or unnaturally.

Zap, can you now haul the pine chips and needles in the front end loader? How does it compare with total load in cart vs in bucket? I've also been thinking of all those nasty trees you have to pull down and keep thinking you can probably do a lot of that with the FEL too.

I'm not sure if they can bank the trails with the groomer or if the go with what's there.

This is just a guess but I'm thinking they can bank the trails with the groomer.

I'm sure I can but I would rather use the trailer. I did mention to the wife that once we get about four more trees down just off the trails, we'll use the tractor with a cable to pull down some big rotten pines.

We did get the two dead pines down today, the second pine 0298 had to be dragged back with a cable so the top would come out of a red maple, it turned out that it only knocked some leaves off the tree.

I have some splitting and some chipping to do but the temp will need to drop before I do that.

Nice work Woody. Yes, it's hot. Heat index around 100°F here in Pa during the last day of work. I would give anything to be in the woods right now, just sitting.

If it wasn't for some big white pines keeping the sun off me, I would've been inside.

I took four bottles of water and two apples with me but once they were gone I came inside, the temp was at 88 when I walked in the door.

I hate working in this heat but I have some other chit coming up so I try and do some each day.

I did split the pine we dropped yesterday and I also had plans on splitting the Maple in the second picture but I was drenched from splitting the pine so I said enough.

The pine we'll be burned in the outside fireplace this winter.
