Hard to believe it has been that long. 20 years ago she finally agreed to give me a try today. A couple months earlier I remember sitting down and seeing her for the first time. It had never happened to me before, but in about 2 seconds of seeing her for the first time, we hadn't spoke, no idea if she was in a relationship, let alone interested in a hick like me, I said to myself "I am going to marry her." She faintly remembers me just looking at her with an odd expression on my face. I am so far removed from being a ladies man that I never thought I would have even had a chance, let alone be able to sweep her off her feet. We talked, got to know each other a bit, and on this very day, I'll be she took the bait! It hasn't all been easy since then. In fact we have been through a lot, but somehow we are still together. I've been wrong, she has been wrong, a couple major life kicking us in the teeth events, but there have also been some good times as well. It's been one hell of a rollercoaster but we are still together. Guess she musta liked me a little bit to agree to go out 20 years ago today.
