This is for sale, but I'd also appreciate suggestions on how to word an ad to help my neighbor sell this cool old truck via other venues. And could you tell me what pictures to use for the ad please? I'll list it on a couple national autotraderlike sites plus on craigslist in Texas (thanks ironpony ) and others I tried to contact Aaron but the sites I found were either the show he left and the new ford parts place that was for buyers info. I'd absolutely email him if anyone knows how to let me know! Yes Jack Straw , the bed is solid, so is the cab, only one small common place where it's rusted through to daylight. Boy I'd like to fix this and drive it!! But, no. I'm going to fix my Blazer first when I win the lottery Draft for advertising below and the pics I took, please tell me which to include "Project Truck" or "Destined to be a Hot Rod" , (or what's an appropriate and good title for the listing? ) Buyer pays for and is responsible for transport. Located in SE Wyoming. Beautiful patina. Solid body and chassis, small are of rust though on drivers front wheel well, in pictures. High wind gust blew passenger door backwards, in pictures. FHC members, which pics should I use? I was in direct sun for the motor ones and pretty much clicking blind....
I don't think you can have to many pictures when you list it. Buyer pays shipping, buying as is where is. Do you have the title in hand? If so, list the title is in hand.
Two things....you posted your “draft” and only one typo, so get that fixed... Next, she’d probably do better if A) the giant tank were removed from the bed, and B) the cab was at least free of old stuff/clutter....maybe swept out too....that way someone who might be viewing this over the Internet could get a better idea of what’s going? Thoughts?
Thanks Eric I really appreciate you taking the time to read, study and share suggestions! I absolutely agree about cleaning it up, the pictures are icky. It would have been if we could have, I was planning on mentioning it to her tomorrow, I really hope her son & wife/kiddos will be up memorial day weekend and I thought about hitting him up on the tank and atleast shoveling/swamping out the cab, we shall see.... If you have a minute to peek at the ebay listing (same pics) but proof read and see if I have the right parameters on it the listing? { I did $500 min bid instead of pay $40 for minimum reserve, buyer responsible for transporting, as is } I called the state here, to sell within the state of WY she needs a new title for abandoned vehicle paperwork , but if it's out of state it depends on the state.
Could add an apostrophe at “driver’s side” door in your EBay post. The windshield is self-evident, so no need to worry about that.... otherwise, good deed done
Far Out, someone messaged me to ask to see the truck. Nationwide listing and its someone from town here
