my problem with O'Malley's was they left rock hard speedbumps in my burnpot.. had to do some major scraping with them. that was a few years ago..
i burn Ezblaze super premos. my only tick is lot of fines but they burn up just like the pellets. cleanout the harman fines box 0nce a month.
I tell that to relatives who live in florida and Ga... tell them i would rather have couple days of snow than constant heat and humidity most months.
I should say that the pellets where some nails or nail pieces we're found we're not stove chows.... easy heats come to mind though...[ole roy's]
well, least it ain't metal pieces. few people here have reported pieces of nails. [do i hear skids?] :hair:
good choices.. i'll be All blaze premo's for next season.
Softwood heaven..... good God i'm moving to the Northwest!! Actually, being that close, thought they would be cheaper.......maybe..
dude.. your in washington state? next state over is where most of the best Douglas fir softwoods come from.. should be lot cheaper for you there...
wonder what the highest CFM you can put in the 61btu harman..
sooo, anyone tally up the score here? Harman vs the world....:hair:
hardwoods... made or distributed by energex..
forgot to mention that very little scraping is needed now with the softies.. once a day i do it regardless if needed or not. and deff no clinkers...
my harman P61A has been in use for 5 years. has burned many brands over the years ... some hardwoods made so much ash that when i would come...
good explanation there...
I should clarify about the abundance of ash with the chows... my problem with them or any high ash pellets is since we burn overnight, many times...
burned a ton between this season and last... they gave pretty good heat..
Hamers are quite ashy these day...very coarse stuff.
where are the Oakie platinums coming from? thought the're out of business.. leftovers?
LIKE SHOVELING CEMENT!!
I guess i am OCD about it. changed oil about 6 months ago and other than run it for 15 minutes or so every 5-6 weeks, we didn't need it till this...
