I have a Harman insert. Pulled the stove out yesterday and there was that unattached wire with a connector on the end. What the heck is it. It's been unconnected for as long as I can remember. But it does make me wonder if it was connected to something like when I pulled the stove out the first time and I never knew? I always chalked it up to some configuration that I don't have. But it seems I should get to the bottom of this.

Dotman....pretty hard to tell without seeing the whole setup.....is it a twisted pair wire, like for the room sensing probe? Look and see if its black and attached to a fairly sizeable bundle (like 25')....originally was meant for folks who wanted to extend their room sensing probe....just kinda tucked in there.....I don't believe it was even described in the instructions. I don't know this is the case in your case, but cant really tell from the pictures!

I will send a photo tonight. Thanks Lousy. Yes, it was just kind of tucked in there.

Ick. I have to pull out the stove again. Probably not going to happen until the weekend... if I am motivated.
