    Nice you better get busy!

Wood always heats you twice, unless you rehandle like I do then it’s four or five times!

Those look like nice logs - straight and not too big around.

Back filling the carport when the sun went down last night and after all these years picking through the trailer looking for the right split to keep stacks straight.
I just bent down and grabbed some gravel.:zip:  Too Easy! :coldone:

I'll get this finished up tomorrow. Nice to see the end of it no matter how much I enjoy doing it.

It'll be closer to six. Another cord or two would have been nice. I might have to cut some of those dead elm along the road allowance to get the shed full.

Hmm...that's not good. I'd change it again after a couple more hours...

Just a friendly reminder to everyone to change the oil after a big job like this. I did the first change after 4 hours and it was really silvery. The hour meter now says 24 hours and it was still silvery.
It should be good from here on out though now that the break in is done. I always change it anyway after doing a load of logs. Cheap insurance.

It called for five hours before the first change. I think the break in period is actually longer than that and I still got shavings because of that.
These small engines need a bigger sump.

    Reviving old thread

Seeing those Jonsered saws made think…

Just last year passed on a chance to buy a left over Jonsered, the big one (forget the model) for a decently cheap price. The rest the guy had the name had already changed to Red Max.

How do you like your Jonsered’s?
