I have some pictures I can share later on some ideas. Patio umbrella's work great.

Yup Patio umbrella works great unless it gets windy. A nice shade tree works best with a near by bench to repose on with a sweatting cold Ice Tea.

Great, I've got one, picked it up cheap at a bargain store for $10... bottom pole is missing, I think 1 1/2" steel pipe will work though.

I just posted "looking for free used patio umbrella's" on the local town facebook pages on Sunday and picked up 2 yesterday. I have 3 more to pick up today/tomorrow.

Father in law wanted some shade on his lawn mowing tractor. Had a old used one from a patio table where the pole had bent. Sawed the post off above the bend and measured it. Found some black pipe would slip over it when he went and measured at HD.

Bought a flange like this one except for a bigger size pipe and mounted in thre left rear fender screded his bit og black pipe in and drilled a hole thru it. slid the pipe from umberlla inside and drilled a hole thru that pipe stuck a pin in there and he had shade.

That Simplicity is a 1972 model 7112. Has a Kohler k301 12hp engine. I have it now, it smokes a bit but still runs fine.
We also have a 1964 Land Lord with a snow blower mounted we use to clean the drive way.

Making some progress, a few 27" oak rounds, a bit over 1/2 cord left to fill the big shed. IMG_20190610_095703547.jpg IMG_20190611_124453020.jpg IMG_20190611_124506312.jpg
