Pressure washer stopped without warning and wont start.
Last ran in November. Never drained gas...had maybe half tank. Went to use it a couple weeks ago and started on first pull, ran for 30-45 minutes without issue. Had stopped and restarted a few times.
Put more gas in and used it again the following week. Started on first pull. Stopped and restarted a couple times. Used it for an hour and it suddenly dies. I thought it had run out of gas, but no, 75% full tank. Tried to restart, nothing. Waited an hour and still nothing. Tried again next day and same.
I dont know its age. Took it in barter for a job last Summer. It had been stored in a basement. Used it a few times last Summer/Fall.
Have not tried to fix/diagnose anything.

Well, you know the basics for sure. Got spark? Getting gas? etc.

I’d start by getting rid of the gas that’s in there. Maybe there’s some water in the system that is causing problems? Drain the tank, drain the bowl, remove the spark plug, pull the cord a few times and let it sit. Eliminate the easiest problem first. I’m not a small engine guy so that’s about all I got.

If you're getting gas and spark, don't waste your time with all else. Drain the gas, put on a new carborator ($20 on line) and it will run as new.

Check for spark first. Pull the plug and see if it sparks. If it does dribble a little gas in the hole and try to start it.

Stupid thought, but have you checked the oil? It could have a low oil shut-off.

Got the same machine, bought it new at Home Depot about 20 years ago. If it'd be any help I've got the operators and parts manuals for it. Been using mine off and on through the years and stored through the winter with Stabil'd non alcohol fuel without any problems. And that engine is equipped with a low oil shutdown system.

Low oil shutdown is on the engine. So check engine oil level. Even if it's good, sometimes the oil level switch itself can go south. If it has spark though, that's not the problem. So that's the first thing to check - spark. If no spark, and oil level good, I would put a new plug in first, before messing with the oil level switch. They can die all at once.
