My Grandson spent a couple of days at forestry fire fighting school.
I’m thinking this may be a glimpse into what he wants to do in a couple of years. [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

Glad he got the experience. Maybe he will like it.

That's great Reloader ... always good to see a young guy fired up about getting dirty working hard. Good luck to him!

That'll separate the men from the boys real fast. Good for him! Shake his hand for me please.

Reloader my daughter just received her wildlands fire fighting certification. She was trying to get a job with an all ladies crew in MT I think. Good for your grandson, people always say do what you love and you'll never work a day...

I was a volunteer fire fighter/emt for 25+ years. Very little woodland fire experience but around here it is wet enough things usually didn’t kick up until we got a lot of wind. Those calls kicked my butt so I admire him being willing to at least try it out for sure.
