Was up north over the weekend in Sault Ste Marie with my two boys and most of my extended family, trails were great and lots of snow. It was a miserable drive up but definitely worth it.

Here is a picture of my oldest boy on the old reliable Ski doo Formula S 380

Here is another, he didn’t quite make the corner. Seemed like a great time to pull out the phone and let his uncle get him back on the trail. Nothing hurt except his pride, we’ve all been there.

Ahh to be 20 again, this was my sled back in the day. Just sold it a couple years ago. I bought it brand new for myself for Christmas in '80. Old school but it was fast for it's day. IMG_0097.JPG

My machines haven't left the VT property this season. I think both have maybe 2-3 miles on them each. Hoping for a snowier late Feb/March.

Got out grooming Thur of last week. We have more snow now than I can remember. Really something. Barely could use the cutters without loading up the drag completely. Spent 8 hours in the Tucker. A short stint compared to most outings. It got cold and the trails set up perfectly. Fri. was a great day for all the riders who got on our trails. Sat. brought the big stormageddon. Rain, snow, heavy winds. Tough to see all the trails get goofed up. Is what it is.

Spirit Mountain ... It's not far from us, just over the border in Minnesota.

Put another 5 hours in the groomer today. Crazy amount of snow here. And just in time for spring. Not that you can tell. Going to be cold for days. Might as well keep grooming!

A lot of grooming going on as I was driving up here. As nice as it is having a lot of snow later in the year, even with the cool temps, the sun is high enough and strong enough to make bare spots quickly even if it stays below 32 air temperature.

Just traded 2 Polaris 600ves piston kits with all the top end required gaskets. For a Big Mac value meal. True story.
Glad to help out my son in law and father of my 3 wonderful little grand daughters:D
