Thanks for the kind replies! Yes my father is doing better. He ended up getting 2 stents but still has a severe pinched nerve in his spine. He's in better spirits but cant offer much help till he's able to stop taking the blood thinners to perform surgery. He's a tough old man tho, he'll make it. I heat 3 houses - all of which have auxiliary heat besides wood but we still all burn the full season. The real consumer is my parents wood furnace - it can suck down a face cord quick! Didn't get to wood last weekend - ground wasn't frozen enough. The coming weeks are looking good tho! This sat I am heading down to a friend's to drop some trees which we will load in his dump trailer and haul back to my place. Friends with a wooded farm and free gas are awesome - wood is always in their way and they love seeing it go away
