Those are some crooked buggers, but they will still burn well. I hate cutting in that weather though. I'll just stay near the stove when it gets that cold.
Glen buddy that rock truck to the left of the shop, would be nice once it was loaded. Troopers would love seeing that come through town.
I drive that when I get time in the summer and fall. Its an A25 Volvo. Without the dump bed but with a set of short logger bunks and a self loader it would make an Awesome forwarder.
Not nearly as cold as what Rope has to deal with getting wood. I did a cold wood get on Monday. It was pretty chilly when I was unloading. Kinda chilly when I was bucking and loading but I wasn't sweated up yet.
It was warm enough that I didn't need a breath warming face mask. Course it was cold enough that my breath made stash cicles. Still , it was cold enough that my throat is a bit scratchy tonight. I've frost nipped my throat a few times and I have to be careful. Much hard breathing at colder than 25 below without a breath warmer and I get into trouble. Ya learn to deal with things.
