Rainy day in the PNW. Nice thing about stacking is I can do as little as I want and don't have to put my toys away after I'm done. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
On the ground. Whatever doesn’t survive the ordeal goes onto the fire pit. I actually don’t end up losing much and found out it’s a lot less hassle than replacing base boards every couple of years. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
We sometimes stack right on the ground here too but we are on yellow sand so it does not harm. The only problem is that during the winter you can't get that bottom row out as it is frozen in pretty solid. Just wait until spring or early summer then get them out and throw them onto the top of another pile.
my camp wood goes right on the ground, uncovered. Call me crazy but sometimes I think that pile seasons better than my elevated top covered stuff.
