I'm finally getting around to a toolbox upgrade on our Kubota. The oem box was limited compared to what I'd like to be able to hold. Just some more pins, mallet, an additional wrench, tape measure, screwdriver, etc. Side by side comparison. Notice the offset below to allow for the wider box. I had to redneck engineer the slow moving vehicle sign mount. The bottom of the new box has a slight recess. I didn't want to crack it out when I tightened it down. So, I cut the ends off of an empty mig welding wire spool to use as support shims. It also added strength for the offset. Not bad for $15 bucks on ebay.
That looks great. I will have to figure out a larger tool box one of these day. I like the SMV mod you did. That might help me. Thanks for sharing.
