The last hurrah of Hurricane Micheal came thru central North Carolina in October with a surprise, 10 big trees down on my property, many more on neighbors all around. Most are red oak. 3 days without power, and a winter worth of work to cut, haul, split, stack, and clean up the tops. I like to keep my woods clean for the look and fire safety. Had to buy a new saw, good excuse anyway.

A hurricane & that many Oak trees, I would've tried for two saws.:D Nice looking place, sorry about all the damage though. Natural disasters really take a toll on folks. May the Winter see you productive & enjoying the "windfall".

    Yep, quite literally.
I'm wondering if the saw is still all shiny............

Wonder what that tree that hit the woodshed was thinking when it saw where it was gonna land.

Mother nature and father time both have a way of pushing men to their limits. Nice saw and plenty of future BTU's available for you.

The one just couldn't wait to get into the stacks, must have figured on just doing it on its own. Nice saw!

My firewood has never ever put itself in the woodshed.

Extra points for uniformity in your stacks and I love that steel structure they are under in the final pic!

Nice saw. Sorry for the damage, at least it's close to the stack.
