Yep. Calling for a little snow and ice at the tail end of tomorrows storm.

And here I thought we were done burning for the season.

I think I saved just enough wood on the porch for the chill coming wed pm. AND these March winds are killer this year!

    Bummer.
It has to be spring soon.
    Keep your wood dry :)

Many Easters here we've hid eggs in the snow
Kid get all bundled up & have fun.
Looks like a warm one this year, forecast for 45 to 50° :)

Same thing here across the border last night. A lot of sleet hitting the north windows.

They're calling for 1-3 inches of snow after all this rain, we just went to a Flood Warning.

bones ache, cool and windy, flood warning, (no risk, we are very high up on a hill) then ice/snow following heavy rain. seen this sort of mess before. n0 matter what we get hit with, it will quickly all go away. 56F out and 72F in. wife saw the forecast and started the stove. good day to catch up on some books.

I had the opposite reaction. The ground is covered with snow and ice, and I'm happy since once the stove goes quiet for the season, the heat, skeeters, and humidity issues begin. I love shoulder season and like to hang onto it for as long as possible.

No snow but it is going down to 27 tonight. Fired up the stove around 5:00 this afternoon. First fire we've had since last Tuesday.

That's not a bad thing. Get a little more fire for the year before the heat of summer

I'm happy to be burning a hot shoulder season fire. I loaded too much wood and can't close the side door until some of the wood burns down. I'm wasting a lot of heat up the chimney burning like a fireplace, but I have wood to spare and am enjoying the sounds of roaring flames.
