For you New Jersey people and everyone else, "big brother is watching"

States are getting money hungry smart and tying all permits/taxes/licenses together .
I just went through some NYS bullchit that I won't get into over permits. Turned into a tsunami of chasing and showing one permit after another and verifying account #s.
Glad I keep good records but it cost me close to a full day of lost income and pizzed off customers just to jump through their hoops.
Computers and arrogant civil servants be dammed .
I'd like to say buck the system but computers that cross check everything and are interlinked between states will eF u in the end.

 

That's not the state, that's your town. No dog police in my town in NJ

 

Bureaucracy is the main taker of Liberty.

It's not about anyone's safety...it's about liability and the lawsuit, thereafter. Likely a lot of towns that require registration have had a dog attack where there was no 'proof of ownership', and therefore, no one for the insurance companies to sue for damages.

Anyone ever seen Popeye with Robin Williams? I'm always reminded of it when people talk about taxes being out of hand. Is this the future?

 

I for one am glad to know that the Garden State is running like a well oiled machine. Crime must be at 0%. Heck it sounds as if cats don't even get stuck in trees in New Jersey. It's good to know that the great state of New Jersey has decided to take on this critical issue to ensure the public is safe from non-licensed pooches.
