Took a couple of Mom and Dad's maple trees down on Thanksgiving, today Sinngetreu and I had a charity split for them. Here's some pics. Here's what's left of last years wood. Some that needs split. And some more. And more. Sinngetreu getting a stump removed and test driving the bugz goggles. And the finished stack, 2 1/2 rows deep.
Looks like a productive day I have tried various forms of goggles through work(spoggles etc.) they are crystal clear for about 10mins then the fog sets in and everything is hazy - defeats the purpose of PPE - useless, unless useful, after years in plants that are all about safety - and multiple stupid edicts from VP's that have never worn the stuff. Most of the reportable "injuries" are when guys are removing the PPE and get some collected dust off the PPE in their eyes or wipe their brow and get something off their gloves
only good for the bigger stuff though - what's the visibility like? Seems like wearing a pair of scratched safety glasses would equate, or close to a helmet w/shield ?
Not great for low light, but otherwise it's about like looking through a screen door. Most effective eye protection I've ever owned-- because I keep them on.
I loved wearing them. No fog, plenty of ventilation, and they were comfortable. I will be buying a pair of them when I get a chance. Thanks for letting me try them Grizz.
No problem. Thanks for helping us get Dad set up for another year. After you left everyone commented on what a great guy you seemed to be.
