Trouble getting straight cuts.

    Must assume this is the screw your referring to. Gotta admit I’ve never given it any thought. Must be a pain to dial in correctly but next time I’ll give it a try. Much will depend if the cheap grinders are actually contacting and maintaining the same diameter line of the blade I would imagine. That would be a miracle in itself :)

    That's the correct adjustment. It works well. But if you go from .050 gauge to .058 or .063 it will require re-adjusting to be centered on that new width drive link. I'd imagine if it were set up for .058, it might be close enough for all 3

    Yeah. What huskihl said. Took me a while to learn what it does. Once the adjustment is done......easy as pie.

    After reading through the thread again, I believe I have discovered the problem. It’s a crooked log. . Should have left it in the woods; like choosing lumber at Home Depot, you need to go through at least 5 bad pieces before you find the right one.
