Opening day of archery season was today. I’ve had my eye on this guy since he was in velvet. He stepped in to the right spot at around 7:15 this morning. My shot was a little far back, but I got a nice chunk of the liver. Buck fever got the best of me at first and I bumped him outta where he would have died. So, I backed out, waited about 45 minutes and found him 20 yards from where I bumped him.
Nice, congrats. Figure to go out this evening down by the creek and see what might be sneaking through.
Well, my college buddy got a moose permit in the zone where I live so I’ll shift my attention to that. Then after that, heeeeerrrrrre grousey grousey!!!
