Worked on another walking trail for Mrs today. What a beautiful day.
Didn't get much in the way of fire wood, but I bring out even the small stuff that most don't bother with. It adds up over time! IMG_20181001_151326398_HDR.jpg IMG_20181001_151312210_HDR.jpg

I either chip the branches and firs or burn them if it's wet.

Cut, stack, burn. I like the sizes of those poles.

How long of a trail are you making? Looks like fun work.

My goal is to cut a trail around my property. About 1..5 miles. I'm only half way done and that is the easy part.

I cut loops every so often so Mrs can walk the dogs around. It's funny, we've been here 3 years and she still gets lost

Yes, . definitely in the works! My parents walk the trails too and get lost. Might be a good winter project for the kids...

Ah, getting lost in the woods just adds to the excitement and enjoyment!

I like that you are cutting all around the property. We did that here some years ago but now it seems most of the trails are going every which way. It can be a task keeping the trails open every year as the brush regrows.

Have you considered perhaps running a cable from side to side on the trailer sideboards? Either one centered or one on each end. You could use a turnbuckle so that you could tighten as necessary.

I have metal posts that I use instead of the wood if its a heavy load. But yeah I think I should do that in the future.
